How to apply liquid eyeshadow:
- Apply liquid eyeshadow to the eyelid with the applicator and blend gel formula using your fingertips or a flat eyeshadow brush.
- Wear alone or layer with eyeshadow to amplify your eye look.
Pro Tip: This eyeshadow can be used as an eyeliner. Use the e.l.f. Precision Eyeliner Brush and apply starting at the center of the lash line and extending outward. Repeat from the inner corner of the eye to connect to the centerline.
Metallic Eyeshadow FAQs:
What is the difference between shimmer and metallic?
Metallic eyeshadow is best for a bolder look as it is more reflective. Shimmer has a slightly iridescent sparkle to it and creates more of a softer glowing effect. It is not as pigmented as a metallic eyeshadow.
What is the difference between glitter and metallic eyeshadow?
While glitter eyeshadow gives an extremely sparkly and shiny effect, metallic finishes appear to have underlying gold or silver shimmer for a more foiled effect.

Really pretty
I wanted to try the glitter ones but once I saw these out, I really wanted this kind of formula more. I tried Big Dipper and it’s really pigmented. I had to dip into the product once for each eye, but I do have hooded eyelids. It is a little streaky but I think you need primer to make sure it looks more solid. I tried adding more product but it just got more messy. It might be easier to apply with something other than the applicator too.

Very pretty but doesn't last long
I love Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow and was hoping for a less expensive dupe. PROs: This went on well and looked pretty. It stays liquid long enough to blend 2 colors if you wish. CONs: The only disappointment is that it just doesn't last. I put it on for a 1pm zoom meeting and by 4pm it was nearly gone. I used eyelid primer and some powder shadow in the crease and both of those looked fine at 4pm but the liquid shadow was only hanging on a tiny bit at the lash line. I will use this when I go back into the office, but I'll have to bring it with me for touch ups.

Beautiful shimmer shadows
Most of the shades are beyond beautiful. Put a little bronzer in the crease, add one of these on the lid, blend lightly with a brush and Boom! The perfect shimmery look that lasts all day. It doesn’t budge until you take it off. So far I’ve tried Galaxy, Comet, and Moon. Comet and Moon are great quality. I would purchase these again. I don’t recommend Galaxy. It was disappointing regardless of application method (with primer, with concealer and on bare skin). Nothing worked. It was dry, patchy, bunched up, emphasized every line, and would NOT blend.

Beautiful Shimmer and Smooth Glide
I love the simplicity of the application. With one glide, i’ve got a beautiful sparkly eyeshadow base. It’s great for layering and can even double as a subtle highlight to your cheek bones!

PLEASE DON'T GET RID OF THESE
I saw that you got rid of the glitter liquid eyeshadow so I'm sure you'll be discontinuing these as well. PLEASE DON'T. I don't want to have to buy the stilla ones because they are way too expensive. Elf you are breaking my heart getting rid of all of the best products. WHY?!

I’ve always wanted a blinding shimmery eyeshadow and this was the one. I love the color little dipper. I use it more often than any other shadow at the moment. So quick, easy, and beautiful!

Rose gold shimmer
I have the gold and rose gold colors. Let them dry down before smudging or building color. The rose gold is so pretty, the gold is very gold and yellow tone.
